Transportation is one of the biggest climate change gases contributors as well as emitting pollution affecting all our health. Public transportation, which is better for our environment, has significant financial problems, which are being exacerbated by COVID-19. How can we address these environmental, health, and fairness transportation problems? We talk about this with Professor Megan Smirti Ryerson, the UPS Chair of Transportation at the University of Pennsylvania, and with Professor Eric Goldwyn, researcher at New York University on Planet Philadelphia environmental radio show today.
