  • Christina Faulkner McDonough: California suffered from multiple big fires this summer. Christina Faulkner McDonough had a close call with the Woolsey fire, and will tell us about her direct experiences. Even though CA is 3,000 miles away we are all connected. The smoke from the fires even reached here Philadelphia and contributed to days of poorer air quality.  
  • Liz Robinson: Philadelphia Solar Energy Association (PSEA) Executive Director, a key advocate for solar energy in Pennsylvania, helping to develop the policy framework that has had many accomplishments. She will talk about environmental issues in the new year. 
  • Karen Krivit: Philly Goat Project Director Karen Krivit and several volunteers talk about this unique community-based program. Don’t throw your  Christmas tree in the trash. Recycle it by feeding it to the goats at the Philly Goat Project at Awbury Arboretum's Agricultural Village.
