"Don't Touch My Hair" Black Arts Expo! Plus Health and Wellness "Community Conversation"! 8PM, 3/16


Tune in to Stepping Into Tomorrow this evening at 8PM, as host Gabriel Bryant speaks with Ethepoetemcee Muhammad, Founder and Director of this coming Saturday's Hustler of Culture Black Arts Expo! Themed, "Don't Touch My Hair," this third edition of the expo series is focusing on "celebrating the sacredness of Black women." Featuring interactive workshops, networking, vendors, cultural activities and a special live concert, this is an event you won't want to miss! Gabriel will also speak with Jack Drummond, Director of the Mayor's Office for Black Male Engagement, who will be discussing their upcoming monthly Community Conversation, this time focusing on Health and Wellness, and happening next Wednesday, March 22 5:30-7:30pm at the Community College of Philadelphia (Winnet Student Life Bldg). These conversations provide a platform for community members "to discuss challenges, opportunities and solutions that address dismantling inequities that impact the lives of men and boys of color in the city."
