When the students of an Orange, NJ teacher, Marylin Zuniga, wrote letters to political prisoner Mumia Abu-Jamal earlier this school year, it unintentionally set off a serious dialogue about educator rights, community engagement and ultimately a heightened awareness about Mumia's health issues.
