Image 1ST HOUR: An all-blues hour in honor of this Friday's Blues Night @ LaRose with the Jef Lee Johnson Band... Feldie does the blues a little different, though. Look for tracks from Sonny Clark, Sarah Vaughan, LaVern Baker, Thelonious Monk, Charles Brown, and more.

2ND HOUR: A celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of tenor saxophonist Ben Webster. Ben Webster's expressive range on the tenor sax might be unmatched, and you'll hear him doing it all, with big bands, vocalists, small groups, and strings, starting with a 1932 recording with Bennie Moten's band and continuing chronologically through his work with Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, and more.

Lucky Old Souls on G-town Radio, every Tuesday afternoon at 2.
