Image Join Feldie for a pre-Christmas celebration of the music of Irving Berlin, the Russian-Jewish immigrant who wrote "White Christmas."  He also wrote more than 1,000 other songs during his 50+ year career.  Tune in to Lucky Old Souls today to hear some of Berlin's best songs--performed by some of the most brilliant performers of the last century, including Bessie Smith, Ray Charles, and Thelonious Monk.

And, near the end of the show, Feldie will speak with blues singer Donna Alexander.  Her band, Shades of Blue, based in Chester, is playing at LaRose Jazz Club Friday night as part of a new monthly blues series co-hosted by Feldie and Aqueelah Jamal of 900AM-WURD:

Shades of Blue at LaRose Jazz Club, 5531 Germantown Ave., Friday, Dec. 26, 8 p.m. - midnight, $10

Enjoy the show and enjoy the season.
