SKYWAVE August 14 6pm: CRYIN' JAGS! Print E-mail

Good eve. Welcome to Skywave. We have 3 scripts. We begin with an episode from the 1930s melodramedy Cecil and Sally series. Titled "Sally Has  a Good Cry", it seems that poor ol' Sally has gotten deep into Existentialist  angst over feeling all alone. Is she? Stay tuned.  We continue with an entry from the Phil Harris-Alice Faye comedy show. 1st broadcast 1953, "Gang Leader's Phone Number" has Phil and Alice believing an old lady is a mob leader. But who gets arrested? Stay tuned and listen from Fleischmann's Yeast Hour. Originally aired 1935, "The Church Mouse" considers the spunk of a meek young lady who demands that a big shot bank prez give her a chance at playing secretary. Will he give in? Well, here to jiggle the jello out of your stuffing are regular voices Martha Michael, Bill Simpson, and your wiggler Andy Pettit.
