Tune in this evening to Stepping Into Tomorrow at 8:00PM, as host Gabriel Bryant speaks with Asantewaa Nkrumah-Ture, a member of the Global Women's Strike, who is helping to put on this Saturday's screening of the powerful film "Tales of the Grim Sleeper."  March 12, 6:30pm, at the Lava Space at 41st/Lancaster, this documentary shows how "over 200 Black women (went) missing in South Los Angeles and as many as 100 are believed to be victims of serial murders."  It is "a devastating expose of official neglect in those murders that terrorized South Central LA for over 25 years. It includes interviews with the women who survived and with the Black Coalition Fighting Back Serial Murders, which since 1984 has protested the deaths and campaigned for the police to act."

"As the trial of the suspected killer finally got underway last week, the Black Coalition has called out the prosecutor for stereotyping the women as prostitutes and drug addicts. This international day of action, called by the Coalition, is to remember the victims and support their families.
