Two men who, in different ways, embody the spirit of 1960s America, celebrate birthdays today.  Bob Dylan is 70 and Archie Shepp is 74.  Interspersed throughout the usual Lucky Old Souls mix, Feldie will be playing several Archie Shepp performances and interpretations of Bob Dylan songs by artists including Nina Simone, Ron Miles, and Jef Lee Johnson.

You can come hang with Feldie and the Lucky Old Souls family this Saturday at the fourth (and final) Jazz on Colorado Court concert, presented by Lucky Old Souls on McKean Street between 17th & 18th St., alongside the future home of the Lucky Old Souls jazz club in South Philly.  Performing this week is Philly's premiere organ trio Three Blind Mice, with special guest Chris Beck on drums. The show goes from 3-6:30pm.  Food from Honest Tom's Tacos and Buttercream Cupcakes.  Oh yeah, the show's free!!!

Stay connected to Lucky Old Souls on Twitter, Facebook (new page!), and at luckyoldsouls.com.
