After last week's Abbey Lincoln memorial show, Feldie is back with a regular edition of Lucky Old Souls: a great mix of music in Hour 1 and Uncle Sam's Vinyl in Hour 2.

HOUR 1: Music from Lester Young, the Sun Ra Arkestra (including violinist Stuff Smith!), the new CD release Catalyst: The Complete Recordings, Maxfield Gast's forthcoming trio album Side By Side, and more.

HOUR 2: UNCLE SAM'S VINYL: Jazz LPs from the late '60s and '70s.  This week: Bobby Hutcherson's Dialogue (Blue Note, 1965) and Woody Shaw's The Moontrane (Muse, 1975).

Be sure to tune in next week when saxophonist Maxfield Gast joins Feldie in the studio in anticipation of his album release concert at September's Lucky Old Souls @ Moonstone show.
