G-town Radio is proud to present news breaks from the Media Mobilizing Project. You will hear new pieces each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays (noon & 5 PM). This week's On Blast segment is called Building A Youth Movement Youth Leadership Institute. Student Union's week-long leadership institute BAYM (Building A Youth Movement) is entering into its 7th year. The program includes political education, leadership development and media trainings. BAYM is youth developed, youth driven, and youth facilitated. The program is 100% free, and participants will be provided with breakfast, lunch and tokens. August 9th to August 13th Labor Justice Radio this week features a piece called Prayer Vigil for Detained Taxi Drivers. The Unified Taxi Workers Alliance organized a prayer vigil on Wednesday, July 7th to support the drivers and families who were victimized in a recent raid by the Philadelphia Parking Authority and Immigration Customs Enforcement Authorities.
