Heather Heard is a down to earth and quirky mother of three with a passion for all things science related. She spent most of her adult life working in the medical field, but is now switching to the social sciences.

Joseph T. Heard is a graduate of the Community College of Philadelphia and Syracuse University in the field of Applied Mathematics. He worked as a research assistant in the High Energy Laboratory of the Office of Science for the Department of Energy and as an program administrative assistant for the Office of Educational Programs for the Office of Science. He is currently pursuing his PhD. in Applied Mathematics.
