Good eve. Welcome to Skywave, your show for live radio pleasure. We have 2 crisp tales. The first is from the Columbia Radio Workshop. Originally aired 1939, "Meridian 7-1212" investigates the operations of a telephone time service. Ever wonder what's behind the voice you hear when you call for the time? Well, stay dialed to gtown to find out. We'll commence with an episode from the comedy series Vic and Sade. 1st broadcast in the '30's, "Uncle Fletcher's Meals" has the exasperated Unc F over at Vic's for an unknown length of stay. You'll need more than a bowl of chips and a hot pickle to keep up with this one. Well, here to keep your imagination hungering for more are guests Nyi Lunsford, Gary Mitchell, Maury Harris and your host, Andy Pettit. Let's listen!

Good eve. Welcome to Skywave, your program for live radio theatre. Tonite we have 2 intense tales of the natural elements and their wonders. For the 1st, we'll soar upward with an episode form the suspense series "Quiet Please". 1st broadcast  1949, "The Northern Lights" examines what might happen if one tried to record the sounds of the Aurora Borealis. We continue with another Quiet Please episode. Originally aired 1947, "a Mile High And A Mile Deep" considers what life is like on the other side for those who went down a mine...but found something greater than living? Whether it's above or below, we know our solo guest and reg actor knows how to navigate in the direction of entertaining his audience. Please welcome Stephen Medvidick to our show along with myself, your host, Andy Pettit.

Good eve. Welcome to Skywave, your program for live radio theatre. Tonite we have 2 corking dramas. The 1st is from the Adventures Of Philip Marlowe. 1st aired 1947, "Red Wind" has detective Marlowe contending with a neglected dame, a sadistic crook, and the nasty heat off the Santa Ana wind. Our 2nd selection is a rouser titled "The Love Nest". Originally broadcast 1933, this melodrama features another lady of low spirits; this one about a disillusioned starlet. And here tonite are regulars Martha Michael, Bill Simpson, sit-in techie Jim Harris, along with myself, your host, Andy Pettit. Let's listen!
