Good eve. Welcome to Skywave. Tonite we have 2 scripts. The 1st comes from the suspense series "Quiet Please". Originally aired 1947, "Kill Me again" examines what might happen if a man sells his soul; but he's not any man. This one is innocent of any crime or sin. So why sell his soul? We continue with an episode from the comedy series The Bickersons. And what better way to introduce spring than listening to a title that reminds us it's so- "The Tax Refund". Our guests tonite are new guy Jack Roe, regular Sherry Brown and your host, Andy Pettit.

Good eve. Welcome to Skywave. Tonite we have 2 more radio plays. the 1st is a fantasy tale from the Columbia Workshop series. Originally aired 1939, "The Use Of Man" asks the question. What use is he; especially to the animals who appear in Lord Gorse's dream to deliver their opinions of his utility. We follow with a taut tale of suspense from the Front Page Drama series. 1st broadcast 1934, "The Devil's Daughter" concerns a determined woman's will to stay overnight in the temple of Sekhmet; the Egyptian goddess of destruction who has wrought insanity on any who dare her. But what is this woman trying to prove? Will she succeed? And with us tonite are 2 actors with nothing to prove, but plenty to share with their treasure of multiple personae- Shelli Pentimall Booker, Steve Medvidick, and myself, your host Andy Pettit.

Good eve. Welcome to Skywave. We have 2 scripts. We'll begin with  one from the Quiet Please suspense series. Originally aired 1947, "Three" considers what happens when a man allows that number to preoccupy his mind to the point of petrifying paranoia. Our second play comes from the Empire Builders series. 1st broadcast 1931, "Billion Dollar Baby" dramatizes the effects corporate-minded thinking has on the working poor. And here to lead the brigade of entertainment are Kathy Harmer, Mickey D'Onori, Mike Raimondo, and your host, Andy Pettit.

Good eve. Welcome to Skywave. We have 2 plays. the first is from the Suspense series. Originally aired 1949, "Ghost Hunt" has a hapless property owner stressing how he's going to unload his haunted house; so with the aid of a publicity stunt-minded agent, they employ a hep DJ and renowned psychic investigator to check out the authenticity of spooks by having a sleepover at the place. "Who you gonna call? ..Ghostbusters?" Don't crack up yet because we have a fantasy tale from the Columbia Workshop series. 1st broadcast 1941, "Odyssey of Runyon Jones" follows a little girl's journey to curgatory, where her naughty pooch is suspended   for fatally feral feats. Consider this canine account a cross between Kafka's The Trial and Carol's "Alice in Wonderland". Who let the dogs out? Well, in the Gtown menagerie this eve, we have 1st time guest Carol Moog, Sherry Brown, Paul Del Signore, and your host, Andy Pettit. Let's listen...

Welcome to Skywave. Tonite we have 2 more tantalizing tales. The 1st is from the Crime Club mystery series. Originally aired 1947, "No Time For Murder" concerns the murder of nightclub dances Dixie Martell. How does a clock waltz its way onto being her last second and final partner? Time will tell! for the 2nd script, we veer onto the comedy ramp. Performed for the first time, "Drive Share" brings you to the front seat on the passenger side, where a car owner sits as drivers pay to take care of a variety of "chores". Buckle up and have your license ready for inspection. And the official voices hired to test your auditory skills are Martha Michael, Richard Metz, Jim Harris, and your host, Andy Pettit.
