Good eve. Welcome to Skywave. We have 2 plays. the first is from the Suspense series. Originally aired 1949, "Ghost Hunt" has a hapless property owner stressing how he's going to unload his haunted house; so with the aid of a publicity stunt-minded agent, they employ a hep DJ and renowned psychic investigator to check out the authenticity of spooks by having a sleepover at the place. "Who you gonna call? ..Ghostbusters?" Don't crack up yet because we have a fantasy tale from the Columbia Workshop series. 1st broadcast 1941, "Odyssey of Runyon Jones" follows a little girl's journey to curgatory, where her naughty pooch is suspended   for fatally feral feats. Consider this canine account a cross between Kafka's The Trial and Carol's "Alice in Wonderland". Who let the dogs out? Well, in the Gtown menagerie this eve, we have 1st time guest Carol Moog, Sherry Brown, Paul Del Signore, and your host, Andy Pettit. Let's listen...

Welcome to Skywave. Tonite we have 2 more tantalizing tales. The 1st is from the Crime Club mystery series. Originally aired 1947, "No Time For Murder" concerns the murder of nightclub dances Dixie Martell. How does a clock waltz its way onto being her last second and final partner? Time will tell! for the 2nd script, we veer onto the comedy ramp. Performed for the first time, "Drive Share" brings you to the front seat on the passenger side, where a car owner sits as drivers pay to take care of a variety of "chores". Buckle up and have your license ready for inspection. And the official voices hired to test your auditory skills are Martha Michael, Richard Metz, Jim Harris, and your host, Andy Pettit.

Originally aired 1936, "The Canterville Ghost" concerns a wraith that's been  haunting  an estate since 1575. How can he be put to rest? We continue with the comic series "The Planet Man". Can Dantro thwart the evil dictator of Mars from conquering the solar system? Guests include voice specialists Sharon Sigal, Nyi Lunsford, Gary Mitchell, Stephen Medvidick, and your host, Andy Pettit.

Our second selection is from the Ma Parker comedy series. 1st broadcast 1945, this episode might be titled "Ma Parker: Advisor of the Lovelorn". Why? The 2nd feature is form the Vic and Sade comedy series. 1st broadcast in the '40s, "Vic, Chef for Dinner" has hick Vic  thinking he's the answer to Julia Childs. Good eve. Welcome to Skywave. Tonite we begin with an entry from the sci fi mystery series Lights Out. Originally aired 1942, "Revolt of the Worms"  concerns a chemist keen to develop the greatest rose ever. And in order to achieve that plan, he doses the specimens wit large doses of hormones. But what happens with the leftovers? To find out, you'll have to stay tuned and maybe relieve yourself from the tension with the comedy that follows; one of our favorite sources for chuckles- those un-knighted kings of kick*#^ comedy- The Marx Bros' Flywheel, Shyster, and Flywheel. 1st broadcast 1933, "Episode 10" considers the investment an innocent heiress unwittingly makes in punch-drunk pugilist Gombatz via the magnanimous machinations of the self-appointed investment lawyer Mr. Flywheel aka Groucho with the noble assistance of ever-faithful Mr. Ravelli aka Chico. And here at Gtown aka for now Skywave are guest regular voices Kathy Harmer and Maury Harris aka too many characters to list ready to deliver some knock-out entertainment along with myself, your host aka Andy Pettit.

Good eve. Welcome to Skywave, the only program in Philly broadcasting live radio play fun. Tonite we have 2 seasonal treats for you. The 1st is from the comedy series Our Miss Brooks. Originally aired 1950, "The Magic xmas Tree" entertains the notion what might happen to the cast of characters should a little boy come by Ms Brooks' house bearing an enchanted evergreen. Our 2nd selection is titled "The Visit of St. Nick". 1st aired 1939, this adaptation from the famous poem explores the frantic activity of Santa's workshop as he prepares his sleighful of presents. And here to animate the festivities are our elated elves- Susan Triggianni, Nyi Lunsford, Gary Mitchell, and your toy shop tinkerer, Andy Pettit. HO! HO!
