Get into the Halloween spirit and tune your radio dial to 92.9fm or stream it via your favorite device. What better way to celebrate the Day of the Dead than with People Who Have Died!? Nearly all day our music shows will be spinning tracks by artists no longer with us. Tune in and dig sweet sounds from the great beyond!

It all begins at 1pm following Democracy Now! (noon-1) 

Lois Volta (The Volta Way) kicks things off with two hours of euphonious selections by the departed. Suzanne Biemiller (Life Grooves) carries you through to 4pm. Tom Casetta (Listen Up!) keeps the celebration going from 4 to 6pm. Reade McCardell (Fewsh) joins the cadaverous fray from 6 to 8pm. Joanna Wikander (The Sunday Dinner Mix Tape) presents a tapestry of on-stage death from 8 to 10pm. At 10, K. Gerard Bates (Gotta Get Over The Hump) picks up the ghastly mantle and guides you to the midnight hour.

Potential sounds include: rock, bubblegum and mellow pop, soul, post-psychedelic pop, country-rock and euro-pop, glam, folk-rock, funky disco and even some concise and catchy, hard rock. Songs from the 70’s from small records with big holes. Some hits and some not so hits. 

Warning: Cringeworthy potential is high.

is growing and expanding its board.
This group is responsible for the long term management of the station to make sure we meet our community and fiduciary commitments. While much of the board's work is behind the scenes it is every bit as important as the quality of content we broadcast.

Grow Our Board
We are reaching out to you, our listening community, to help us find candidates that can best serve the station. Below are some of the qualities and skills we are seeking. This is a working board where all members are required to be fully engaged and contribute. Residency 

  • Board nominees should be within our FM listening area. 
  • Exceptions can be made for those with relevant skills. 
  • Skills Leadership in community organizations

  • Education experience / connections to local schools 
  • Volunteer coordination 
  • Social media / marketing experience  
  • Technical expertise (radio or web)
