This show also features a music component, showcasing artists both local and on a national level, whose work provides a voice for change and societal uplift.

Tune in to Stepping Into Tomorrow this evening at 8:00PM as host Gabriel Bryant discusses the actions and demands of the Black and Brown Workers Collective (BBWC), who have been exposing the climate of racism that permeates Philly's "Gayborhood," and the need for changes to be made to dismantle white supremacist institutions there.  This includes the closing of the ICandy club (where a recent video was released showing the owner repeatedly using the N word to describe customers) and the firing of City of Philadelphia LGBT Affairs Director, Nellie Fitzpatrick. Representatives from BBWC will speak on their work and what next steps are looking like for this movement!

In addition to operating as a space that "engages in emergency preparedness, urban survival training, and battered women’s rescue," BWDL has a focus that also includes Domestic Violence / Rape Counseling, Health/ Sex Education, Pregnancy/ Teen Pregnancy Prevention, Education, Police Brutality and Economic Stability. Tune in to Stepping Into Tomorrow this evening at 8:00PM as host Gabriel Bryant discusses the campaign to remove the Frank Rizzo statue from Philadelphia's Municipal Services Building in Center City.  Speaking with activist Erica Mines, they will talk about why for many, this figure continues to bring out thoughts of the history of racism and police brutality in the city.  Should it be moved to another part of the city? Taken down altogether? Gabriel will also speak with activist Shani Akilah of the Black and Brown Workers Collective, who will be holding their first community Block Party this Saturday, August 20, in Southwest Philly.  Listen in to see how this event is not only a great social event but an opportunity to raise the key political issues of the BBWC and how you can support their movement!
