Stepping Into Tomorrow fuses thoughtful dialogue about the issues that face everyday urban communities including Philadelphia, while highlighting those individuals or entities that make solutions possible. This show also features a music component, showcasing artists both local and on a national level, whose work provides a voice for change and societal uplift.

Tune in to Stepping Into Tomorrow, this evening at 8:00PM, as host Gabriel Bryant speaks with educator and filmmaker, Nuala Cabral, along with young people from the youth group, POPPYN (Presenting Our Perspective on Philly Youth News). They will be discussing their upcoming trip to South Africa next month, where they will build with several youth groups on the continent and produce short film projects focusing on youth power and organizing and the need for youth to cross borders throughout the diaspora. They will also share how you can support their fundraiser and provide a donation towards their trip!

Additionally, Gabriel will speak with Ginger Smith, who is coordinating the "Welcome to Wakanda" marketplace slated for Saturday, March 31, at The Pike Banquet Hall, 7:00-11:00PM! This African inspired marketplace is highlights local Black artists and business owners as well as celebrates art, culture and community! There will be African drumming, massages, live performances, vendors and more!

Tune in to Stepping Into Tomorrow, this evening at 8:00PM, as host Gabriel Bryant highlights the need for discussions around mental health in the Black community. He will speak with educator and counselor, Shesheena Bray, who will be discussing therapeutic services through her business, Going Inward Wellness, LLC! She will talk about what programs she has in the community (including at the Institute of Contemporary Art) and why it's critical to maintain one's wellness. Additionally, Gabriel will meet with professor and national race expert, Chad Lassiter along with clinician and artist, Darin Toliver of the Black Men at Penn, an organization coming out of the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice. They will discuss the work that they have done for years to support young men of color, including a new initiative that began recently at Cheltenham High School. This interactive event, featuring music, speakers and workshops will allow people to join the conversation around mass incarceration and how to address injustice locally and nationally. Tune in to Stepping Into Tomorrow, this evening at 8:00PM, as host Gabriel Bryant speaks with Reuben Jones of Frontline Dads and the Philadelphia Community Bail Fund. They will discuss Philadelphia district attorney Larry Krasner's recent move to recommend ending cash bail for 25 low-level offenses and how this measure will affect communities of color, while making an impact in the work to dismantle mass incarceration. Gabriel will also speak with Kamila Ahmad, who will provide an account of Black youth who were recently victims of racist aggression from white students while at school and the administration that did not provide the safety, security or expertise to properly deal with the situation. Tune in to Stepping Into Tomorrow this evening at 8:00PM, as host Gabriel Bryant speaks with Pam Africa and representatives organizing this weekend's "Have Black Lives Ever Mattered?" events. With the release of world-renowned political prisoner, Mumia Abu-Jamal's latest book, entitled "Have Black Lives Ever Mattered?" organizers and activists have put together a weekend including a Teach-In, rally and march, spoken word performances and a special forum on mass incarceration featuring Marc Lamont Hill and Akeem Browder, noted brother of Kalief Browder, who committed suicide after multiple assaults by prisoners and prison guards at Riker's Island.
