Stepping Into Tomorrow fuses thoughtful dialogue about the issues that face everyday urban communities including Philadelphia, while highlighting those individuals or entities that make solutions possible.  This show also features a music component, showcasing artists both local and on a national level, whose work provides a voice for change and societal uplift.

Tune in tonight as we feature two women utilizing culture as a means to promote wellness and holistic expression in the community.  Najuma Lagbara (pictured at right) leads one of the premier African Dance classes in the city, with sessions held at Imhotep High School; and Charlyn Griffith (pictured at left) is the Director at Sanctuary Wholistic Arts (www.sanctuaryphilly.com), a venue catering to arts productions, events, and other services.

Tune in tonight as host Gabriel Bryant of Stepping Into Tomorrow talks with Chicago activist Chairman Fred Hampton Jr. (pictured at left) on the 43rd anniversary of the Black Panther Party for Self Defense, as well as issues in regards to the Derrion Albert gang killing, Chicago losing the 2016 Olympics and much more.

Also Janise Lee and poet Lady Dove (pictured at right) will be featured, who will be discussing their upcoming show 2nd Annual Nate Brown Ent. Free Flow Poetry Jam on Oct. 24th.

Tune in tonight as Stepping Into Tomorrow features Gabriel Bryant with guests Leah "Keturah" Caesar and Nicole "Victorious" Harris, the founders of LeahNicole Media, and producers of the upcoming film Raw Talent: A Philadelphia HipHop Dance Documentary, highlighting the history and legacy of Philadelphia's hiphop scene, and how the DJ's, MC's, and graf artists all influenced the many facets of Philly's hiphop dance culture.  Hear them discuss how they explored this rich culture, and their research spotlighting icons from the 70's to the present.  The film is already shaping up to be incredible!  Check out www.rawtalentphilly.com for more info!

Gabriel Bryant is a Brooklyn, NY native now residing in Philadelphia.  He works for an educational non-profit providing students in the neighborhood high schools a pathway to and through college.  Gabriel is also a community activist, as Co-Director of the Phila. Chapter of Sankofa Community Empowerment.
