She will talk about what in-store events she is developing, being a Black woman business owner and the important resurgence of independent bookstores! Gabriel will also speak with educator Dana Carter, who will be discussing next week's Black Lives Matter Week At Schools lineup of activities. These events are designed for both teachers and community members alike, so be sure to listen in and spread the word with your networks!

Arrested and incarcerated along with 8 other MOVE members after the infamous and controversial MOVE 9 case of August 8, 1978, Delbert is a free man after decades of work by organizers, activists and a legal team determined to share the truth and build a movement that they were innocent. Listen in to hear from Delbert himself, as he discusses how he navigated his experience, what MOVE means to him and his first reactions to life back in the City of Philadelphia!

Filmmaker Carl Tone Jones, will discuss the importance of this film, which focuses on strategies to attain and sustain Black liberation. He will be joined by Sis. Lavinia, who will share why it was important for the North Philly Peace Park initiative to be a part of this effort. Gabriel will also feature Bro. Khamuo of the Afrakan Independence Day institution, who will be talking about their 5th Annual Buy Black Marketplace Pre-Kwanzaa Celebration, which will be held on Sat. He also will speak with Melanated Educators Collective activist and educator, Ismael Jiminez, who will discuss the recent work of the Caucus of Working Educators to present a new slate of leadership to the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers union!
