This show also features a music component, showcasing artists both local and on a national level, whose work provides a voice for change and societal uplift.

Tune in to Stepping Into Tomorrow, this evening at 8:00PM, as host Gabriel Bryant speaks with former political prisoners, Janet Africa, Janine Africa and Eddie Africa of the MOVE 9, to discuss their recent release after 41 years of imprisonment! Joined by longtime MOVE activist, Pam Africa, they will share their thoughts on how they navigated the decades of their incarceration, returning to Philadelphia after so many years and the continued push to organize for the release of the rest of their MOVE 9 family - Chuck and Delbert Africa. They have organized this weekend of events to celebrate the communities that make up the mosaic of East Africa, by coming together in the spirit of peace, specifically as it relates to the historic agreement between the nations of Eritrea and Ethiopia that was signed months ago that ended a 20 year conflict. Tune in to Stepping Into Tomorrow this evening at 8:00PM, as host Gabriel Bryant begins his Black Agenda Series! Often, the issues, concerns and needs of the Black community are marginalized and invisibilized, based on racial and class biases. This series will attempt to shed specific light on what many grassroots activists, educators and thinkers are processing through, which is a Black Agenda for the city. This comes timely, with Philly categorized as the poorest big city in the nation, a rise in gentrification sweeping across neighborhoods and some seeing grave stakes with the upcoming elections.

In tonight's edition, Gabriel will speak with educator and activist, Akil Parker and educator and activist with the Avenging the Ancestors Coalition (ATAC), Mwlimu Waset. Listen and call in at 215.609.4301!

Tune in to Stepping Into Tomorrow this evening at 8:00PM, as host Gabriel Bryant discusses the controversial street re-naming of North 59th Street in west Philadelphia (from Overbrook Ave. to City Line Ave.) as "W. Wilson Goode Way," after the former Mayor. Concerned community members and activists have voiced their issue with the street being re-named at City Council hearings and at the street re-naming dedication itself, citing the former Mayor's connection and role in the 1985 MOVE bombing, which left 11 men, women and children dead, 61 homes burned down and 250 people displaced.
