I've travelled many lyrical journey's with you. Ever since the first time I heard your voice recorded I knew that music would never be the same for me. As a songwriter, you painted the pictures of the places I've often wanted to go and it was this impact that led me to become a passionate singer/songwriter myself. A good friend of mine, Mimi Brown (WDAS FM), called me yesterday to tell me about your untimely passing...as everyone else I am still in shock but I know that all the angels were called and still lay upon your feet. So as you ascend to the heavens I can remember your debut of "Wild and Peaceful" and it is from this collection that I pay tribute to you ....a song that has taken me to many heights in my own career "Where's California?" And as i sit at my piano (to write and arrange) I remember all of the impressions you left on me, the world, and your fans -- your incredible musicianship, your voice, your awesome performances, your legacy, and on record?... it's DeJaVu!
