Philadelphia drummer Lucky Thompson joins Feldie in the studio for a special edition of Lucky Old Souls.  You can't talk about the jazz scene in Philly for too long without Lucky's name coming up.  His weekly Saturday jam sessions at Natalie's are legendary, and Lucky really knows how to swing a band.  We'll hear some of Lucky's recordings, talk about his musical career and some of the great musicians he's played with (including Nina Simone, Sonny Stitt, and Big Mama Thornton), and listen to music from some great drummers (including Kenny Clarke, Philly Joe Jones, and Clyde Stubblefield).
