There Will Be Blood
some things go together as if ordained by a higher power: Peanut butter and jelly. Penn and Teller. Me and sweatpants. And this Monday I present to you another combination so perfect I feel obligated to share it with the world: my sister and pop culture, specifically 80's pop culture, specifically long-forgotten trends, specifically New Kids On The Block, specifically Jordan Knight. Okay, it's possible that's a smidge too specific, but watch us go there. So please join me and my beloved older sis Michiko as we delve deep into the rad cultural vaults of our childhood and exhume everything we can remember, guided only by the firm hand of nostalgia and the shining light of sarcasm. It promises to be more fun than an episode of What's Happening. If lucky we might even hear Michi's deep observation on what she thinks most ails the Philadelphia Eagles: the less-than-stellar shade of green on the uniforms. Bring back the kelly green!! Call, write, or just listen gtownradio.com 9-11am
