It's All Soul 3/30/15: Gladys Knight & The Pips...and Buddah Records Print E-mail

Image

Hey Folks,

Tonight, once again, we'll spend some time with one of the great legendary acts in soul music; in this case, the iconic Gladys Knight & The Pips.  What we're really interested in however-beside the music, of course-is how the group's relationship with Buddah Records helped and hindered their growth in the industry.  We'll talk about production teams, artistic vision, songwriting and Claudine.  We'll also get into the Pips' surreal appearance on The Richard Pryor Show...  Tonight, on a brand new episode of It's All Soul-Gladys Knight & The Pips And Buddah Records.  Hope you can join us!  Mondays, 8-10 pm on gtownradio.com
